What Is The Chances For Survival After Obstructive Inguinal Hernia Surgery If Being A CABG Patient?
Hi Doc, my father who is 65 years old, got 3rd major heart attack recently (Jan 17th, 2011), he got one week treatment in Ghandhi and recovered but angiogram reported he has multiple blocks and CABG is compulsary but later doc's in Ghandhi raised concerns on CABG complications and suggested to live on medicines. But now he is having irreducible obstructive inguinal hernia for which surgery is compulsary but he cant go for surgery as he is a CABG patient. Docs want me to sign on high risk consent for surgery in Ghandhi. Please let me know in this case which hospital would be better for this kind of surgery? Thank you!
Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com I have evaluated your query for your father in details .
* As the patient has CABG history , the surgery of obstructed inguinal hernia is high risk , chances of survival depends upon multiple patient factors evaluation from physical examination and other supportive data . * Needs a multi disciplinary hospital set up where any inadverent event can be managed immediately .
Wishing him fine recovery . Feel free to ask any further queries .
Regards .
