General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Trancodol LA injections are used for severe symptoms of mood disorders, mainly schizophrenia. It is a proven drug with some drug interactions so let your doctor know if you are taking any medication apart from what you have mentioned. You have not shared the diagnosis but if it is schizophrenia and the symptoms are worsening then you should go ahead with the injections.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shubir Walter Abraham, General & Family Physician
