What Is The Cure For Fever And Cold For A 3 Year Old Child?

Dr. my son 3 years old is suffering from fever and cold , before last week he had fever and cough , he already taken 3 days antibiotics now we started solo cold syp. kindly advice as fever is repeating every 6 hour.

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
You give paracetamol 15 mg/ kg body weight every 4-6 hourly as per requirement in addition to the cold medicine.
You may give steam inhalation 2-3 times daily for immediate relief.
your child will be free from symptoms within a week.
Otherwise you may have to add antibiotic with the advice of your doctor.
