What Is The Cure For Painless Tissue On Left Tonsil Causing Frequent Nerve Pain Around Jaw And Temples?

Hi, im 20 years old and i have like an extra big round ball of tissue on my left tonsil. Its really big but i always thought it was normal until i went for a consultation for my TMJ. The doctor noticed a huge abcess on my tonsil. He showed me and poked at it. I do not have throat infections or pain. It doesnt feel like anything although now that im aware of it, i do feel it in the back of my throat. When i was little i would get horrible tonsillitus, fevers, etc . EVery month or more until i was 12. I never had them removed because they didnt bother me after that. The extra tissue moves around when i look at it and move my tongue. My ENT does not know what it is when he observed it he said it might be an extra lobe or something. I also have really bad TMJ, my cartilage is out of place on both sides ive had this for about 7-8 years. I cant open my mouth without adjusting it and frequent nerve pain around my jaw ears and temples. It also hurts when its cold out. Ive tried night gaurds and massages but i think the only way to cure it is to have open surgery and readjust the cartilage.. Do you know if this is related to my extra tissue on my tonsil?? Im also prone to ear infections and eardrum pain!! My ENT wanted to remove the absess tissue right on the spot with some numbing liquid but i do not want to be awake for it so he suggested i just remove my tonsils also under anesthesia. I was thinking if i should just remove the absess tissue only? Under anesthesia. Does anyone know of this is all related??

HI You have to remove the whole and both tonsils to get rid of all other associated problems you have. TMJ problem could have been caused by the unnoticeable odd movement of the jaw due to painless existing problem.
