What Is The Cure For Swelling And Bruise In Vagina After Having Sex?

Hi doctor, after having sex on Saturday night my left labia minora swelled up pretty badly. It was hard to walk and even more difficult to sit down. As the day went on I noticed that it started to bruise. I ve been icing and heating and that has brought the swelling down significantly, however, it is still a little swollen & the bruising is all over the left side. I m just wondering what I should be doing or if I have to just wait for the bruising and swelling to go away.

Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having soreness and cellulitis due to rough sex.
Continue applying ice pack.
Apply antibiotic cream locally.
If swelling and pain persisted, then go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Keep local hygiene proper.
Ok and take care.
