Hi,
History of weight lifting and feeling of pressure and pain to hand suggesting towards strain or sprain. Strain is related to the tear of muscle fibre due to repetitive movement, while, sprain is related to injury to ligament. So, avoid such processes that aggravate pain for at least two weeks as backward curl. Consult an orthopaedician for more evaluation. go for x ray of wrist and do supination and pronation movement with light weight dumbbell then rest your fore arm on your knee for sometime. You can take some medications like tab ibuprofen 200mg tds, capsule serration peptidase 15mg tds.
Hope this will help you to some extent.
