What Is The Dark Skin Tag On My Clitoris?

Hi, I've been really worried for ages now. But I've never spoken to anyone apart from my boyfriend about this. My clitoris has a attachment of skin which is quite long and dark almost rooted into it, its not hard, its fleshy, it doesn't hurt and doesn't really bother me but I was wondering whether or not it could be cancerous? And is there any reason I should have it removed? Thanks
