28 yr old lady is diagnosed to have Gestational Diabetes and has been prescribed 1750 K.Cal 3 meal and 3 snack diet. Approximately what percentage of the total daily calories should be provided by Snacks. The increment in total daily calorie during second and third trimester the above mentioned patient should be?

10 %. Should be given as snack daily calories aasit is small meals. Would have counsel better. If sugars height weight and age of patient have been available. During second n third trimester 5 and10% increase should be their. Small and frequent meals would help fruits in morning will be better need to avoid banana, chiku, mango and pineapple . avoid simple sugars no juices more of fibre should be their like sprouts, salads, channa murmura. No hheavy and large meals. For specific diet counsel write on personal chat
