What Is The Difference Between R Cin 600 And Rcinex 600?

Hi Doctor, My doctor prescribed me R cinex 600 and the pharmacist gave me R cin 600.I felt fine when I was using R cin 600. But later another pharmacist gave me R cinex 600 which gave me an allergic reaction. What is the difference between R cin 600 and Rcinex 600? Please help me out. Thank you

Hi,

R-cin 600 contains rifampicin, a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic that is used in the treatment of tuberculosis and leprosy. On the other hand, Rcinex 600 contains both isoniazid and rifampicin which belongs to the group of medications known as antitubercular medications is used in the treatment of tuberculosis. So, R-cin 600 only contains rifampicin and Rcinex 600 contains both isoniazid as well as rifampicin. This is the difference between R-cin 600 and Rcinex 600.
