What Is The Dosage Of Zyprexa?

Hi; I ve been taking zyprexa for many years now. I was wondering if it was safe at all to take 3days of zyprexa in advance to make up for missed days in the future. Basically I want my blood levels to stay the same on the days I can t take it normally. I know that you can have a week s worth injected into you but I can t see my doctor before these 3 days. I was just wondering if 60mg is too much to take by pills at once; as I take 20mg a day normally.

Hello
Welcome to HCM.
No matter what, you must not take 60mg of zyprexa at once or even in divided doses.
At such high doses it can cause hypotension and can lead to fainting.
Also it can cause dystonia and tremors.
20mg is the maximum dose for oral tablet.
Take your regular dose even if you have missed your dose for 3 days.
Thanks.
