What Is The Dosage Of Combantrin?

Hi I did a research and finally found out I have pinworms. My doctor recommended Combantrin pills. It says I should take 1 pill per 11KG (I am 122KG which means I should take 11) but it also says 69Kg and over should only take 8 pill. I tried 8 pill this morning and can confirm at midnight I see no remedy, it is still itching as if I never took the pills. Can I retake the pills tomorrow? does it cause any serious issue if I overdose? If I can take them(maybe later on if tomorrow is not possible) should I take 11 pills this time? I am very worried as the suggested dose apparently did nothing for me. Thanks a lot for your help in advance. Thanks and regards, Alex

Hello Alex,
I am curious to know how your researched and found you have pin worms. Did you see them in your motion or you trapped them with a sticking plaster or by any other means. The symptom of an itch at the anus can be due to a fungal infection also.
Another drug which is very effective for pin worm is Albendazole. It is a single dose of 400 mg in an adult irrespective of the weight. It may be repeated after 2 weeks.
Hope you get better.
