Hi Escitalopram is used in lot of disorders including Depression, All anxiety disorders (as you have allready named) and in something called as mixed depression and anxiety disorder. Clonazepam is a benzodiazapine type sedative-hypnotic-anxiolytic (calming pill-sleeping pill-anxiety reducing pill) If used in combination, I feel the indication must be an anxiety disorder. I wonder why this simple question is not put to the prescribing doctor. I understand that doctors in some countries, including my own country, do not talk much to patient but unless patients and carers start asking their own doctors questions, the doctors, particular older generation, are not going to change. I would encourage you to start engaging with the doctor more, if you have one already. Hope this helps
