What Is The Knot On The Knee That Is Above The Knee Cap Giving A Lot Of Pain?

I have a small movable knot on my left knee its on the top right above knee cap close to thigh not on bone. But my knee has a lot of pain. Sometimes it feels like the tendon is damaged. I have never damaged it but I can t even do a slight leg lunge with it.

Hi!
I read carefully your query and I think that you should not disturb .
I think that it may be some liquid or synovial cyst but first of all you may do knee ultrasound or knee MRI and depend your diagnosis you should consult with orthopedist or rheumatologist till there you should not move and take some pain killer.

Wishing you fast recovery.
