What Is The Life Expectancy In A 93 Old Suffering With Dry Gangrene On Foot?
my 93 year old grandmother has just finally been diagnosed with having dry gangrene on her foot and her sons have agreed to let it just take its course instead of painful and evasive surgery, how long is her life expectancy with this condition if they leave it as is?

Hello,gangrene itself causes lot of pain and discomfort ,it will sometime be foul smelling which makes the others also uncomfortable as for life expectancy it depends on the extent of the gangrene at present ,sugar levels and her general condition
