What Is The Meaning Of Diffuse Osteopenia And Partial Fusion Of The Posterior As Shown On X Ray?

xray showed there is diffuse osteopenia,Partial fusion of the posterior elements at C2 and C3 are evident.There is a mild disk space narrowing and endplate spurring at C3-C4 and C5-C6. The C7-T1 interspace is not well seen...what does this all mean......

Hello.An x-ray findings should be interpreted in function of the age of the patient and their symptoms. Also,radiography is not the most sensitive test for some pathologies. In short, there seems to be signs of osteoporosis,osteoarthritis and perhaps herniated disc.
In function of your symptoms, your doctor will request additional tests(MRI) for a more specific study.
