What Is The Meaning Of "normal Study With Patent Tubes And Bilateral Spillage" In HSG Test Report?
sir I have Hsg test and my report says uterus is opacified with contrast media, showing smooth, regular luminal outline with no evidence of intrinsic or extrinsic filling defect. fallopian tubes are well visualised, appears normal in course and calibre. bileteral spillage noted. impression: normal study with patent tubes and bilateral spillage. what does it meas? can I be a mother?
HI Thank for asking to HCM Here the meaning of spillage taken in the sense of that the dye being spreads equally on both sides, during the study of Hsg particular dye they uses which gives the contrast image of uterus, so here spillage means the dye being poured, normally and does not indicate any abnormality, this is nothing to worry, of course you can be mother,, good luck hope this information helps you, have nice day.
