What Is The Medication For Dry Cough And Runny Nose?

Hi,
My daughter is 3 years and 4 months old.Since yesterday she is having running nose and dry cough.We have been giving her steam, but today evening onwards because of the cough she is vomiting what she is eating. I would like to know if its ok to give asthalin syrup(100 ml) and if yes the dosage too.

Your daughter is suffering from viral URTI.What she requires is syp containing dextromethorphan and decongestant and a antihistaminic. Asthalin is a bronchodialator ,so won't solve the purpose
