What Is The Medicine Fertyl -50mg Prescribed For?

i had a loproscopic surgery for removing endometrioms last month on 22/7/2012

i wanted to have a kid,doctor suggested me to take fertyl -50 mg for 5 days from today.

today is my period 3rd day.

i have regular periods.

what is this medicine used for?

Hello! Fertyl 50 contains clomiphene. It is used in ovulatory disorders like ovulatory failure. Clomiphene is drug wich interfere with estrogen receptors and induces ovulation (releasing of eggs from ovary) and as a result increases the chances of pregnancy.
It may have some side effects, more common ovary enlargement, flushing and abdominal and breast discomfort. It is contraindicated in pregnancy, endometrial carcinoma, liver disease and untreated thyroid or adrenal dysfunction.
