Hello
Femilon ( desogestrel +ethinylestradiol) is an oral contraceptive pill .
Femilon is an oral contraceptive , it contains a combination of hormones that prevent pregnancy, so yes it may help regulate your menstrual cycle , if the irregularity are occurring due to hormonal deficiency.
You mentioned that you are having irregular bleeding with scanning came as hromonal deficiency .
Using birth control pills can sometimes help regulate hormone levels so that if any disease on ovaries can be taken care of.
Your gynae will likely want you to come back after you have been on the femilon to see if the disease is gone.
Once disease is gone your doctor will stop using medication or if indicated , you may need to continue for a bit longer.
Hope this will help you.
