What Is The Next Dosage After 1000mg Of Vitamin B12?

Hi .. last August I found out I was severely low in b12 ...I started a course of injections for five weeks (1000 mg)...but by December I was low again....so once again I got five injections....since May I ve started getting an injection once a month (1000 mg)...my body won t absorb b12...my question is what is the next amount after 1000..because I ve found myself feeling tired a couple of days before injection...I feel I probably need higher amount.... Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

If you have symptoms of tiredness, fatigue, numbness or tingling occasionally and suspecting vitamin B12 deficiency then first thing you should get testes for vitamin B12 level in blood.

If it is below 200-300 pg/ml then you need complete course of injections.

as you have already taken 1000 micro-gram and did not have much improvement then you should take 1500 micro-gram injections once or twice in a week for minimum 7 to 0 doses.

Consult your local physician or GP for complete vitamin B12 treatment.
