Direct inguinal hernias/ Bubonocoels are depending upon their reducability. Also the reasons like chronic coughs and other intra abdominal etiologies also the anterior abdominal musculature with nervous supply status etc needs to be ruled out.
Now you said non surgical treatment, so that is good anelgesia and sedation and antispasmodics help to reduce the bowel in it but the only cure and remedy for reduction of this hernia is a repair of it. its a surgical hole and can strangulate and Incarcerate your bowel and then a big price would be needed to pay for this resilience of not considering repair of this Elective procedure totally safe compared to one done in emergency with alot of complications. You play tennis and i say to you now The ball Is In Your Court.
