Pediatrician 's  Response
the Normal haemoglobin in 18 month old child should be around 12 milligram per litre. the hemoglobin level is 8.7 in your child which is less for his age. to know the cause of low hemoglobin you should to some blood test like complete blood count with peripheral smear, iron studies, hemoglobin electrophoresis. An examination by doctor is also necessary so that we may not miss any important finding. Review with report. Take care.
