What Is The Percentage Of Getting HIV Because Of Unprotected Sex?

Hi Dr. i'm a male jst married and had unprotected sex for over 2 weeks, before she found out that she was HIV positive. and i did my HIV which showed negative. but am not sure if the results were conclusive. what do you think is the percentage or chances of me being infected?

The chance of HIV infection after sexual contact with HIV patient is about 0.2-0.5%
But it is significant
Chance is more when patient is having slow CD4 count, high viral load, skin or mucous membrane breaks in recipient, following an unprotected sex etc

U need to undergo standard HIV screening as per protocols

If initial test is positive, get a repeat test after three months
If both r negative, then HIV is excluded .
