MY WIFE 48 YEARS OLD. HAVE KNEE GAP. DOCTORS ADVISE TAKE PRECAUTIONS ONLY STAIRS SITING ON FLOOR AND SEAT TOILET USE. ALL THIS NOT POSSIABLE. MY HOME IS ON 3RD FLOOR AND ALSO 4TH FLOOR IN OUR USE FOR CLOTH WASHING, TO MARKETING AND GARBAGE THROUGH SHE HAVE TO USE STAIRS ABOUT 6 - 8 TIMES DAILY MINIMUM. My friend, permanent solution is total knee replacement surgery. in osteoarthritis joint surfaces of bone becomes irregular and when person bend his knee i hurts him. In knee replacement we change this surface, patient can walk from 3rd day and stairs in a week. Till that time you can give her calcium and vitamin d 3 combination, heat fomentaion and diclofenec gel application.
