What Is The Permissible Dose Of Levolin To A 6 Year Old?
My 6 yr old daughter is having childhood asthma. She is taking budecort 200mcg twice daily. In last one year she was having only two episode of attack during heavy rains. During attacks she is advised to take levolin 50 mcg twice every ten minute intervals four times. What is permissible dose of levolin for a six yr old per day, please advise
hi the permissible dose of levolin is 2-4 puffs every fourth hourly if there is a cough or wheezing. If there is an acute attack you can even give six puffs every 20 minutes once thrice in an hour. That makes 18 puffs in one hour. Regards Dr. Sumanth
