I am new in Bangalore. I am planning to bring my 3 and a half year old daughter by early next month. The weather is a lot different from Kolkata (I m from Kol). I have heard a lot about the Pollen Effect. I want to know what is it? and what kind of measure do i need to keep my child safe and healthy.

Hi
Pollen effect is allergic reaction which happens in sensitive individuals. Allergic reaction can be in the form of itching, redness of eyes, recurrent wheeze, coughs and colds. It happens only in kids who are sensitive to pollens. Don't worry.

Allergen tests can be done to confirm this if your daughter has any problems. The best way to treat it to avoid pollens.

Take care
