What Is The Popping Sound In The Head During Lifting Weights?
Hi Doc - I m a 35yr old female. I started working out/diet back in march. I recently started lifting weights to tone my body. I m a small frame gal. 5 4 135lbs. I heard a popping sound in my head on my right side while lifting weights and my vision became blurry. I stopped lifting and gave my self an extra day to relax. I started back again and AGAIN I had the popping sound in my head. What can it be????????????
I am so sorry to hear about this popping sound that you have reported. This sound may be from the neck and not the head as there are no joints in the head that can make such a noise. This is probably related to joint movements as bones slide over others. If there is no pain associated with this, then I will say it probably has no pathological significance. If you however have any symptoms and pain, seek management and consult a physical therapist.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
