Hi my name is shellyann I have a 4 years old son he bottom lip isswollen and Flixster today I took him to the doctor and he told it was cold sores and gave me ointment name acyclovir ointment but it geeting worst getting worst swolen more can u help me please..

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum .
It appears that it may be super infected with the bacteria, he the awelling didn't come down.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe cifixime 100mg B.D, mefanamic acid syrup, if the swelling is still uncontrolled metronidazole syrup.
Ask him to gargle after every feed. Ask to drink more water and fluids.
