What Is The Problem If Child Has Blood And Mucus In Stools?

Hi my 2 yr old daughter has had 1 episode of blood in her poo with a little mucus around 5 days ago & since then only a slight taint of pink colouring to her poop of which she is having around 2 a day which is 1 more than usual but she is well in her self with no temp etc what could it be & should I still take her to the docs or wait?? Many thanks in advance

HI. The child needs antibiotics for the enteritis she is suffering from. You should take the baby to the Doctor.
