What Is The Prognosis If Having Protein And WBC In Urine, Fibromyalgia In Knee, Hand And Elbow?
I am a 54old female, with diabetes , recent hc15.8? For about one year now I have protein , rbc, WBC in urine . no sign of uti, I am having symptoms of incontinence at times not recently but also told fibromyalgia with knee and hand and elbow pain getting worse I have recently fell and I am unsure why . I have a rheumatologist . What do you think the worst senerio could I be looking at?
As per my surgical experience, the cause of consistent loss of protein and WBC in urine indicate most likely chronic kidney damage in a patient with uncontrolled diabetes (suggested by high HBA1C level of 15.8).
Additional workup with serum creatinine and urea levels would help greatly.
So far as multiple joint involvements is concerned, it is predictable with many HLA forms of coexistent immunological conditions.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
