What Is The Reason For Breathing Difficulty After A Intense Sexual Encounter?

I just completed a rather intense sexual encounter, and for the last 1/2 hour, I cant seem to breathe normally. I can take deep breaths, but to just relax it seems difficult. (I also have acid reflux, and am belching to make the feeling dissipate).
