What Is The Reason For Brown Discharge And Delayed Periods?

I am late for my Menses, today while using the bathroom I though I finally started because I had a coloured discharge thought it was brownish which usually signals I am going to start. A couple hours later I took out my tampon to find nothing and it's been a day and still nothing ?

Apart from giving you a signal that your period is coming, that brownish discharge could also be a sign of pregnancy (implantation bleeding). In my opinion, I would suggest you do home pregnancy test. If it is negative, then you should wait for your period and redo it if after some days if your period does not come.
