What Is The Reason For Change In Nature Of Periods And Fluttering And Pulsation In Right Ovary While Having PCOS?
Hi,i suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome but i notice in recent months my cycle has changed and there is a fluttering and pulsating in my right ovary,it is not painfull but its happening nearly all day every day,i am not pregnant or on contraception
Hi, Thanks for the query. Poly cystic ovary disease can present with symptoms like irregular menstrual cycles, anovulation, insulin resistance etc. Increased blood supply to ovary, presence of large ovarian cysts can present with pulsations. In thin individuals normal large blood vessels sensation can also be felt. So, once consult gynecologist and go for ultrasound. This will help in evaluating the present status of PCOD and in ruling out large ovarian cysts etc. Depending on the report further management can be planned. Take care.
