What Is The Reason For Child's Coughing Blood After Taking Antibiotics For Ear Infections?

My little brother has been on antibiotics for four weeks straight now, he has a history of ear infections, and had his tonsils and adenoids removed, and the phasician we see said they ve grown back. His ears are bothering him now, again. He has a problem hearing and screams to talk to people. He has a fever, and we give him ibuprophen, once he starts to have a headache. Yet the biggest problem is new. His new symptom is when he coughs, he ll cough up a loogie with a small amount of blood-like ribbons and a piece of flesh looking substance. He says that it doesn t feel like he couphs from his lungs. We have called the phasicians office, yet they haven t called us back with any information.
