Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
I do not know what repellent you have given, but if it is oil based when it is aspirated into lungs there may be fever due to inflammation of the lungs leading to lipoid pneumonia.
Better check up with the doctor once again.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
