What Is The Reason For Frequent Episodes Of Vomiting?

Hi I am totally perplexed...My children have been throwing up extremely frequent over the last couple of weeks. We just moved to New Mexico in August and It seems we have been getting worse and worse. I have had the flu type symptoms twice since we moved here, but my children have each had at least 3 episodes each. My 5 year old son having the most episodes. Throwing up 3 out of the last 5 days. Usually when one of my 4 children gets the flu type it comes they throw up maybe 1 or twice in the day and be better the next day, but my 3 year old just had a spell two nights go where she was up every two hours to throw up over and over and over. My baby who is 18 months was up on and off last night until about 1 am puking. Then today my 6 year old and my baby hardly ate a thing. They just aren;t hungry and my 3 year old and my 5 year old both threw up more than once My husband seems to be the only one who hash;t gotten sick. It really is ridiculous. What is going on? We went to the carribean just before moving here, but that s all I can think of. What do i do? My kids just lay around all day saying they are cold and after they throw up they are just so so thirsty, but they just chuck it back up. My 6 year old has really bad diarrhea. It has been days since no one has thrown up. i

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that the source of water is the problem at that place, Your husband is out for work, most of the time so he is not effected.
Boil the water, and use for drinking, don't use any out side foods, and stored foods.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms domperidone, for vomitings, 10mg for adults and fractions to the children according to the age. ofoxacin, 200,or 100 according to the age.loperamide for loose motions.
If it is well water try to chlorinate periodically.
I advise you to seek the medical help, when the condition is out of control.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to have resistance against the infections.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
