What Is The Reason For Having Lump In LL Pelvic Area?

Hello I have a lump in my LL pelvic area resembles a outlining of my fallopian tube. This is the second time this has occurred in a few months. My gyno at last appointment said everything looked good. This usually occurs a couple wks before period. Thanks please help

Thanks for the query.
The possible causes are :
-Infection of the fallopian tubes. Rarely large tubo-ovarian masses can be palpable per abdomen in case of lean individuals.
But this may not vary with menstrual cycle.
-Abdominal hernia.
-During premenstrual phase, blood supply will increase to internal genital organs.
That may give some sensation of swelling.
If the problem persists, better to go for ultrasound once.
Ultrasound helps in finding out the cause for your problem.
Depending on that treatment can be taken.
