What Is The Reason For Having Swelling From Cheek Bone To Jaw Bone, Periodic Dizzy Spells And Blurred Vision?
My left side of face is swollen from cheek bone to jaw bone I have been getting periodic dizzy spells that last seconds and my vision is blurred at times. Recently diagnosed with otosclerosis, but that does not typically come with pain in the inner ear. This is the second time my face has swollen as if I have a golf ball in the cheek in the past three months. I have had CT scans on both the sinus and inner ear and the dentist said my teeth look great.

Hello, A detailed clinical as well as radiological evaluation is necessary to rule out the cause of swelling. Trauma or periodontal infection or deep caries can cause such swelling. I would advice you to get the abscess drained completely. Maintain oral hygiene well. Ciprofloxacin along with analgesics has to be administered. Infected tooth has to be either root canal treated or extracted. Hope this helps.
