What Is The Reason For Knee Pain And Swelling?

Good day I was sitting Indian style at work I was getting up then sitting down Indian style again consistently for about 5 hours then I went to stand up. I put my feet flat on the floor, grabbed the unit pulled myself onto my knees then stood up right foot first then left foot. When I was putting my left foot on the floor my knee popped and locked into place. Felt pressure, pain and I could NOT straighten it but could bend it. About 3 weeks have gone by my knee is still swollen I can walk better with a knee brace but when I bend or squat it's extremely painful and I can't stand up on my own. I did under go surgery on my meniscus last year. Healed very well but then this happened.
