What Is The Reason For Pain In Foot When Stepping Forward With Toes Bent?

My fourth toe on my right foot, will give off a severe pain when i step forward with toes bent. There is no swelling or anything noticable. The pain seems to come from behind the knuckle. Inside the foot almost....This started about a week ago. Seems fine walking in shoes, until i step on something like a rock.

May be following reason.
1 Bursitis or tendinitis , inflammation may be the foremost reason . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by an orthopedic surgeon.However old injury may be the reason.
2 Rheumatoid arthritis may be the next reason . Diagnosis can be confirmed by R A factor examination.
3 Gouty arthritis may be the next reason . Blood examination for uric acid will find out or rule our the disease.
In my opinion consult an orthopedic surgeon and get his opinion.
