Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

The symptoms are suggestive of an yeast (with, or without bacterial) infection.

Thrice a day application of a cream containing a steroid + antifungal agent + neomycin(or any other anti-bacterial agent), daily for 2 weeks will eradicate the lesion. In addition, keep the infected surface dry; do not rub it vigorously with tissue paper; and, apply talcum powder.

Consult your doctor who will prescribe the advised cream by its available brand name.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.

Take care
