What Is The Reason For Swelling Of Calf On The Bone Which Is Since Four Years?
I fell. It s actually been 4 years ago. I hit my calf right on the bone area and I got a huge local swelling. A doctor told be I d possibly busted a vein. It looked like a little balloon under the skin. I have never had pain with it. It s always looked weird and puffy in that one spot. Today a few inches from the area there is some pain when I press the skin.Local spot not all over or anything. About an area the size of a dime.

This problem could be due to local collection of fluid which gets surrounded by a tissue wall with time.
You need to get the area aspirated and sent for culture and sensitive report.
If area is very hard then surgical excision might be the only answer.
