What Is The Reason For Walking Wide Leg After Having Spinal Tap To Detect Hoshimotos Encephalopathy?

I had a spinal tap 36 hrs ago as they suspect Hoshimotos encephalopathy. I dont have pain in my lumbar area I, am on steroids,, but it feels funny and I walk w a very wide legged knee-locked gait today- both legs feel numb and jello- like. I walked ok after the procedure, and there is no redness or pus. Is this transient?

These symptoms may be explained by transitory low intracranial pressure after the spinal tap. In most of the cases, they pass with rest for few days, good hydration. If persistent for more than a week, medical evaluation is necessary.
