What Is The Reason For Water In Mouth Before Vomiting And Stomach Pain?
Hi. I woke up this morning with the water in my mouth before vomiting, All day I have had on and off shooting pains in the area above my stomach but under my chest. I haven t eaten all day as I found even after drinking water I got these pains. Do you know what it could be?
The water you had in your mouth before vomiting is saliva produced due to GI spasms (cramps).
If your stomach got back normal after vomiting, I'd suggest to take some rest: - and to drink more water - have light meals/soups - avoid citrus, carbonated or spicy foods for a couple of days
If the symptoms will persists, should be further evaluated with GI specialist.
All the best! Dr.Klerida
