What Is The Recommended Way To Wean Off Hydrocodone After Being Diagnosed With Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis?
Hi I am trying to wean off hydrocodone. I have been diagnosed with Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. Due to my allergies I can t take NSAIDS at all so they put me on hydro again. I am down to 1 and 1/2 since yesterday. I feel like the meds are making me nuts! I am taking ginger essential oil for inflammation (stumbled upon it by accident). Do you have any advice on how to get through this? How long is this withdrawal going to take? I did it before cold turkey but I just don t feel as strong as I did then.
Patient with seronegative arthriits also be treated like a RA patient. So I would recommend you to start disease modifying antirheumatoid drug like hydrocychloroquine, saaz or methotrexate. As far as oxycodone is concerns it is just forpain relief and does not have direct effect on your disease. So no problem in stopping it if pain is not too much.
