What Is The Recovery Time Needed Post Severe Urine Infection In Females?
College age daughter has had 2 urinary infections- 2nd one treated at an urgent care (out of state)- bad enough for a shot and rx. It s now 2 weeks later and she feels like she has to force her urine out. Should she be looking into seeking advice from a urologist?
According to history provided there is some urine retention and not a full recovery.
So she needs to follow up with treating urologist.
I suggest to repeat the urine test and investigate with USG pelvis scan for further work up.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
