What Is The Red Spot On The Left Breast Spreading Towards The Core?

I have an oval red spot just below my left breast it seems to be migrating towards my core. It doesn t itch, it doesn t hurt, it almost looks like a light bruise. I had one exactly like it on my right hip that eventually widened out and sort of looks like it disappeared, but I can still see the edges of it. So they react a lot like a bruise, but it doesn t feel like a bruise and nothing would have caused the bruise externally.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be an evolving abscess. However an ultrasound scan is required to rule out possible underlying lump even though it is unlikely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
