What Is The Remedy For Bronchitis Having Taken Two Courses Of Antibiotics With No Relief?

Hi...I have had a persistent cough since before thanksgiving and my chest felt very tight. I also lost my voice for six days. The cough would be worse after I would eat something, or try to talk much. The doctor dx me with bronchitis. I have been on two different antibiotics, for a total of 19 days of antibiotics. I just finished the last one two days ago. The first antibiotic was the z pack and the second was doxycycline. He also sent me for an X-ray and it said that I have mild prominence of the bronchovascular markings. While I am not coughing as much, my chest still feels tight, and I just don't feel well. I have a history of mild asthma, but haven't had issues for sometime. I am not a smoker, but was exposed to a lot of second hand smoke 15 years ago, as I was a waitress for many years.

Hi,
I have read your query.You have taken double antibiotics but you have no done beta-dine gargles and steam inhalation, so you treatment was incomplete .You also have not mention any history of antihistaminic or bronchiodilator drug intake.
so you must again talk to your doctor for the same .Do not take cold etables like ice cream etc.
