What Is The Remedy For Flatulence, Bloating, Pain On Lower Portion Of Ribs ?
yes there occurs a lot of gas in my stomach through out the day my stomach reamins full of gas and i bloat,even thre occurs a lot pain in my left lower portionof my rib cage. sometimes the pain continues for a long period of time say three hours but after having outbursts the pain eases. .this pain is strong enough to make me not do any day to day activity.. i am suffering from this problem since last five yeras.. the pain moves from one portionof the stomach to the other.. even i sometimes suffer pain in my neck and back..sometimes i have mucus type stool an some times constipation .. i never have full defecation not even in the case ,i have loose stools ...give me the remedy please...this problem is ruining my life..

Hi welcome to H.C.M.F. Your symptoms suggest that you have amoebiasis. 1st you should use p.p.i, medicine for worms, then though symptoms are abscent use amoebicidal drugs along with p.p.i. again. you should regulate your diet. use more curd in the food. avoid spices, chillies

Your symptoms in totality are suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome. However, IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion and there are several entities that need to be ruled out. These include sprue, inflammatory bowel disease, lactose intolerance, thyroid disorders amongst others.
Till then, I would suggest the following lifestyle changes to help alleviate your symptoms.
a. Have a high fiber diet which will help you relieve your symptoms to quite a great extent. Good sources of fiber include raw fruits and vegetables, multigrain flour etc
b. Have plenty of water. You should be having atleast 2-3 litres of water daily
c. Avoid a lot of caffeine, legumes and any dairy products. If you are limiting your dairy product intake, you would need a calcium supplement like Tablet Shelcal 500 mg once a day.
d. See if your symptoms improve by limiting the amount of wheat that you consume. You would need to stop it completely. If there is an improvement, you would need to limit the amount of gluten you consume,
e. Since anxiety can increase such symptoms, try deep breathing and yoga to relieve anxiety and improve your symptoms.
Also, see a gastroenterologist who can perform a complete evaluation and start you on the proper treatment. In your case, drugs like rifaximin can provide relief.

hi welcome to hcm.see you have gastric disturbance so first avoid any kind od junk food,spicy food.plus drink plenty of fluid whole day.and eat more amount of green leafy veg and fiber into your diet which may help in constipation problem.take T.VIBACT DS 1in mor and 1 in eve for 5days which is prebiotics help to aid in digestion.if still having same situation then go for sonography of abdomen and barium meal to detect any ulcer or any thing else are ther.do exercise and yoga regularly sometime sedentary habit may harm.avoid any kind of stress .
