What Is The Remedy For Heavy Bleeding With A Lot Of Clots When On Birth Control Pills?
I have been on birth control for a while, but two weeks ago I started having pregnancy symptoms like headaches, mood swings, sensitive nipples and exhaustion so I stopped taking my birth control and now I'm bleeding really heavy with alot of clots. What's going on? Should I go ahead and take a test?

Hi, thanks for using HCM.
Contraceptive pill are effective in preventing conception if taken regularly at a same time daily. failure rate are very minimal.
Get your home pregnancy test to confirm or rule out pregnancy. Probable cause for heavy bleeding could be from oral pill and it will stop in few days. not to worry. If it continues for more than a week need to consult doctor for examination and management. Other less possible cause would be miscarriage, home pregnancy test help in confirming this condition.
Hope this helps you
